Sharni Vinson is an American-born Australian actress, dancer, born on 22 July 1983 in Sydney Australia. Sharni Vinson debuted as an actor in 2001, when she portrayed a role on Home and Away, a soap opera in Australia. In that small role, her acting was so good that the director of casting wanted to have her play every role. She auditioned however for the role, but she wasn't selected. Instead in the same series she played the character Cassie Turner who was a troubled teen who was in foster care. Fans and critics alike praised her role. In the year 2019, Donna Martin reprised the part in the Beverly Hills 90210 spinoff.
