Adelaide Clemens

Brisbane, Australia is where I was born and raised. Daughter of an British father. Clemens started her career as an actress on Australian television while in high school. The actress starred in the role of Juliet in an episode of Blue Water High in 2006 and also acted in the role of Alison on The Pirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji children's television show in 2007. Clemens was awarded the Graham Kennedy Award in 2008 at the Logie Awards, for playing Harper. Clemens was as a character in Dream Life, a 2008 MTV Networks Australia drama film with Sigrid Thonton Xavier Samuel Linda Cropper and Andrew McFarlane. Additionally, she played minor parts in All Saints in 2009 and X-Men Origins Wolverine. Clemens was a model for Jan Logan's jewellery in the same year. Clemens relocated to Los Angeles California following the year 2009. Clemens played Xandrie in the 2010 movie Wasted on the Young. Clemens was in Camilla Dickinson (2012) together with Gregg Sulkin Cary Elwes Samantha Mathis. It was a film adaptation of the novel by Madeleine L'Engle that had the same name. Clemens portrayed Heather Mason as a teenager as she appeared as well as Samantha Mathis in Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The Silent Hill 3 sequel was an adaptation of the Silent Hill 3 horror videogame. Clemens was cast as Valentine Wannop a young suffragette. Clemens was the first actress to make her debut in film in 2012's horror No One Lives with Luke Evans. She also appeared in 2013's film The Great Gatsby based on F. Scott Fitzgerald's novel with the same name. Catherine Wilson was the younger cousin of Myrtle Wilson portrayed by Isla Fisher. Clemens is the lead character Tawney Talbot in 2013's Sundance Channel television mini-series Rectify developed by Ray McKinnon. Natalie Dormer Stephen Graham Zachary Quinto and Clemens star in The Girl Who Invented Kissing, an independent film.
