Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress who is famous for her portrayal of Ginger Grant in the 1960s the television show Gilligan's Island. She began acting as a stage performer in the 1950s, beginning by performing in Two's Company a musical by Bettle Davis. Then, she appeared on Broadway throughout a range of shows until the year 1957, when Li'lAbner went large in the National Theatre. The singer also released her debut album of music, titled It's Time to Tina within the same year. Louise's debut appearance in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda In God's Little Acre, a 1958 romantic drama. The film was met with wide praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award under the New Star of the year category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's student. The role that she was most famous for came by way of 1964 when she was signed by CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise kept juggling her career from Broadway television and Hollywood acting in more dark roles, as opposed to her image as a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. Since her debut, she's been a renowned director of famous television shows like Supernatural and The 100. Her birthplace was in Essex on August 28th 1965. Her family emigrated to Toronto when she was just three where she subsequently spent growing up and in adolescence. She settled in Vancouver when she was chosen for the role of Samantha Carter.
