Maribel was born in Virginia in the United States and was raised there through her mother and father. Information about the siblings are infrequent. At a young age she was determined to pursue a career within the legal field and aspired to be a lawyer. Indeed, after she graduated from highschool she was accepted into the University of Virginia to pursue an undergraduate degree in German along with a minor in foreign Policy. It is among the most historically rich universities in the US and dates its beginnings to 1819 when it was founded in 1819 by Thomas Jefferson, one of the people who wrote the Declaration of Independence. The school has grown to now offer over a hundred different programs around the location of Jefferson's Academical Village which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its main campus is spread over 1600 acres while the research park and farm cover thousands of additional acres. Maribel went on to New York Law School for Juris Doctor studies after she graduated.
