Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American writer and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her works. She is a proponent of human rights for animals. Ali MacGraw is known for her roles in films like Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. Born and raised in a family of artists located in New York she wished to be a part of the art. In the beginning she was employed as an assistant to photographers. Then her work changed to modeling and directing. She was awarded her the Golden Globe Award in 1990 as an aspiring young actor. MacGraw became a global star after her 1970 movie Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. With just three releases MacGraw was named the top female box-office start worldwide. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she had her signature and hand-footprints engraved. In addition, she was a part of The Getaway Convoy Players TV Miniseries The Winds of War, as well as other movies. Moving Pictures is her autobiography which was published in the year 1991. MacGraw is divorced three times.
